We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date will change. Continued use implies acceptance.

16. Amendments

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with:
  • The laws of New Brunswick, Canada and
  • The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,

At BeLiveYou’s option. Disputes will first seek amicable resolution, then non-binding mediation in Toronto or Lagos. Failing that, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of New Brunswick or Nigeria as selected by BeLiveYou.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Clients under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent to enroll. Guardians accept these Terms on behalf of their minors.

14. Minors & Parental Consent

Either party may terminate coaching, teaching, training and facilitation programs or workshops services within fourteen (14) days’ written notice. Refunds for prepaid but undelivered sessions are pro-rated per the cancellation schedule above. Merchandise orders cannot be canceled once shipped.

13. Termination

BeLiveYou is not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, transport interruptions).

12. Force Majeure

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BeLiveYou, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site, products, or services.

11. Indemnification 

All personal or business information shared during coaching, teaching, training and facilitation sessions or workshops, is kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed without your prior written consent, except as required by law.

Our Site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Access at your own risk.

To the extent permitted by law, BeLiveYou’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service in question.

Workshop Kits, Branded Merchandise & Training Materials

BeLiveYou may offer digital products such as e-books, downloadable guides, coaching tools, and training resources through our online store. All digital products are non-refundable after download or access.

Access and Delivery:
  • Access to digital products is delivered via email or direct download after successful payment.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a correct and active email address is used at checkout.
  • All digital files are provided in commonly used formats (e.g., PDF, MP4, ZIP).

Usage Terms:
  • All digital products are for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise specified.
  • Redistribution, resale, or modification is prohibited without written consent.
 
Refund Policy:
  • Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.

Third-Party Retail Purchases (Amazon, Nigerian Bookstores and Retailers), Compliance & Third-Party Fulfillment

Eligibility for Returns:
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags/packaging intact.
  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery by emailing shop@beliveyou.com
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds:
  • Processed within 7-14 business days after returned item is received items and inspected.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, and a 10% restocking fee may apply.

Damaged or incorrect Items:
  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.

Regions Served: We ship within Nigeria, Canada, and internationally.

Carriers: We use trusted third-party logistics local and international couriers such as Canada Post, GIG Logistics, DHL, UPS, and FedEx.

Dispatch Timelines:
  • All orders are processed within 3-5 business days after payment confirmation, unless otherwise noted.
  • Shipping timelines begin after processing is complete.
  • Payments are processed securely through approved payment gateways.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.
  • Delivery Timeframe Estimates:
  • Nigeria: 3-7 business days
  • Canada: 5-10 business days
  • International: 7-21 business days, depending on location and customs

Shipping Costs:
  • Calculated automatically at checkout on our e-commerce platform, based on item weight, location, and selected delivery speed.
  • International buyers are responsible for any custom duties, VAT, or import taxes.

  • Purchases made via Amazon or Nigerian distributors and bookstores, are governed by those retailers’ terms and conditions. BeLiveYou is not responsible for issues related to third-party transactions.
  • Pricing on BeLiveYou.com is listed in USD (American dollars) or NGN (Naira) and auto adjusted to local currencies through our e-commerce platform for international users, based on the user’s location.
  • Orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

Sales Channels

Our product offerings include:

  • Digital Products: Downloadable eBooks, downloadable resources (guides, worksheets, workbooks) and content, coaching tools, audio/video resources, assessments, and training materials.
  • Physical Products: Paperback books, leadership journals, printed workbooks, branded merchandise (e.g., apparel, mugs, t-shirts, totes), and custom workshop kits.
  • Books via Amazon: Select titles are available globally via Amazon in paperback, audio, and eBook formats. These follow Amazon’s respective terms of sale, return, and delivery.
  • Books via Nigerian Bookstores and Retailers: Certain paperback titles are also distributed through select local bookstores and retailers across Nigeria. Purchases through these channels are subject to the bookstores and retailers’ individual return, exchange, and service policies.

5. Products, Merchandize & Digital Goods

Late Payment Policy for Retainerships:
Timely payment is essential to maintaining the continuity and quality of services provided under all retainership agreements. In the event of a missed or late payment:

  • A grace period of 5 business days will be provided after the due date.
  • If payment is not received within the grace period, a late fee of 2.5% of the outstanding balance or a flat administrative charge of $25 USD (or equivalent in local currency), whichever is higher, will be applied to cover banking, processing, and administrative costs.
  • Continued failure to remit payment after 10 business days may result in a pause or suspension of services until the account is brought current.
  • If services are suspended due to non-payment, reinstatement will require full payment of all outstanding balances plus any applicable late fees.
  • Repeated late payments may lead to a reassessment of terms or termination of the retainership agreement.

Retainership Payment Terms & Conditions:
  • Terms, pricing, and deliverables are outlined in a custom agreement.
  • For long-term retainers, customized payments are available and documented in the client agreement.
  • Payment can be made in full upfront or through a scheduled installment plan (monthly, quarterly, or bi-monthly).
  • A non-refundable initial payment (minimum 25%) is due upon signing the retainership agreement.
  • Full payment or first installment must be received before service begins.
  • Missed or late payments may result in a pause or termination of service, and subject to admin fee.

  • For clients seeking continuous support and development, we offer retainership coaching packages. These provide ongoing coaching, consulting, strategic support, and advisory services on a fixed term or rolling basis.
  • Available retainership durations are:
  • 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month (yearly) retainerships.
  • We also offer custom/contract-based retainerships, tailored to organizational or individual needs including executive coaching, team development, succession planning.
  • Retainership clients benefit from ongoing access, priority scheduling, deeper strategic alignment, and long-term transformation support.

Retainerships

  • Our workshops support youths, educators, parents, organizations, and leaders with hands-on engaging content. Formats include:
  • Half-day workshops that are 3.5 hours long, including breaks.
  • Full-Day workshops that comprise two 3.5-hour sessions, including breaks.
  • 3-Day workshops which are intensive multi-day training sessions over three consecutive days for in-depth skill-building.
  • Week-Long workshops which are comprehensive specialized training programs (e.g., youth leadership camps, executive immersion) delivered over five consecutive days for deep engagement.
  • Workshop lengths and formats may be customized for specific audiences such as youths, leaders, parents, and educators, focusing on relevant topics like leadership development, authentic communication, team dynamics, career clarity, student empowerment, classroom engagement, family dynamics and more.
  • Booking terms and payment timelines are subject to custom agreements.
  • For group facilitation services, including workshops and retreats, a separate agreement may be issued outlining event-specific deliverables, participant expectations, travel or venue costs, and non-refundable deposits terms.
  • Group programs follow specific cancellation policy provided at registration.
  • Workshops are offered in person or virtually and may be delivered independently, or as part of a larger event.
  • Payment terms are the same as highlighted for Individual or Group Coaching, Teaching and Training Packages above, except otherwise stated in the signed agreement.

Facilitated Individual & Group Workshops

Usage Period & Scheduling:
  • Clients will be responsible for scheduling their sessions in advance.
  • All coaching, teaching, and training packages and workshops must be completed within 1.5x the package length (e.g., a 6-week package must be completed within 9 weeks).

Cancellations & Refunds:
  • If canceled more than two weeks before the start date, an 80% refund of payments made (less 20% admin fee) will be issued.
  • If canceled within two weeks, a 50% refund will be issued.
  • If canceled on or after the start date, no refund will be granted.
  • Missed sessions without 48-hour notice will not be rescheduled or refunded, unless by prior agreement.
  • Rescheduling is permitted up to 24 hours in advance and subject to availability.
  • If BeLiveYou must cancel a session, an alternative date will be offered.

Payments:
  • For all payments, fees are due at the time of booking, via card or e-transfer payments.
  • A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your package.
  • Full payment is due by the start date of the first session.
  • Sales tax (GST/HST in Canada or VAT in Nigeria) is added where applicable.

  • 4-session package: Four (4) coaching sessions of (45 mins each) over 4 weeks
  • 6-Week Package: 6 sessions of (45 mins each) over 6 weeks
  • 12-Week Package: 12 sessions of (45 – 60 mins each) over 12 weeks

4. Bookings, Payments and Cancellations

By using BeLiveYou’s platform, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during bookings or purchases
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Use our services and materials for lawful, non-commercial purposes only and in accordance with these Terms
  • Engage respectfully and professionally in all interactions

3. User Responsibilities

BeLiveYou is a personal and professional development platform, offering coaching, teaching, training, and facilitating services for youths, educators, organizations, and leaders. We also sell physical and digital books and learning resources.

BeLiveYou provides tailored and transformational services to youth, educators, leaders, and organizations globally.
These include:

  • Personalized and group coaching, teaching, training, and facilitation services tailored to individuals, schools, organizations, and leaders.
  • Individual coaching sessions, group trainings, facilitated workshops, planning sessions, retreats, and events designed to empower clients and participants.
  • Services may be delivered through live coaching sessions, individual or group workshop facilitations, teaching modules, or facilitated events; either virtually or in-person.
  • Retainership Agreements for long-term strategic support.
  • Personality-based Assessments (e.g., Fascinate® Advantage, Personality Dimensions®). Assessments used are under license by the Founder and CEO of BeLiveYou.
  • Digital and physical products including books, resources, and branded merchandise and branded products.

All services and products are subject to availability and confirmation.
BeLiveYou reserves the right to decline or discontinue orders or services at its discretion.
Clients and participants are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during all services.
